Prof. (Dr) Sham Sunder is Chairman - Department of Nephrology & Renal Transplant Medicine at Primus Super Speciality Hospital, Chanakyapuri, Clinical & academic positions :- Sr. Consultant Nephrology& HOD Nephrology Deptt. at  Kailash Hospital & Heart  Center Noida having 30 years post DM Nephorolgy experience in nephrology and renal transplantation, previously Head of Nephrology Unit at Batra Hospital & Medical Research Center (New Delhi)and  Ex- Consultant & HOD- Dept of Nephrology PGIMER & Dr.RML Hospital, New Delhi and Superannuated in June 2014 . Alumnus of Maulana Azad Medical college (1970 Batch), New Delhi. and did MD (Medicine) from Delhi University and D.M. (Nephrology) from AIIMS New Delhi. from first Batch in Dec.1994.and got opportunity to develop full fledged state of Art Nephrology Department from inception including Transplant service and started D.M (Nephrology) course from the last Five years before superannuation &have teaching experience of 22 years for Post Graduate Students and 14 year of experience as post Doctoral Teaching. I have published more than 40 publications in International & National Journals and written several chapters in Medical Text Books. He has expertise and pioneer in the field of Continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis and special interest in the field renal Transplantation and have done several case of ABO incompatible Kidney transplants. I have done fellowship at Emray Hospital, Atlanta (USA), West Med Hospital (Sydney) and Toronto General Hospital, Toronto, Canada. He is fellow of American College of Physician, Indian College of Physician, Indian Society of Nephrology. I have been Consulting Nephrologist for Ex¬Prime Minster of India and Past President of Delhi Nephrology society. He has been awarded National Health Care Excellence Award 2016 as best nephrologist of Delhi & NCR Area.  He is member of the expert panel for renal transplantation, Post Doctoral Dialysis certificate course from IGNOU, several times DM & DNB Examiner, UPSC and MCI expert.
