Dr Saurabh Varshney

Dr. Saurabh Varshney did his MBBS from Thanjavur Medical College, TN Dr. MGR Medical University, and completed CRRI training at TMCH in 2002. He started his postgraduate training In ophthalmology at Sahai Hospital and Research Center, Jaipur under the aegis of the National Board of Examinations in 2003. During the training, he participated in multiple OPD & Surgical Eye Camps in various districts of Rajasthan, Haryana & Madhya Pradesh. He presented scientific papers at ROS conferences in Udaipur & Ajmer. His thesis on “ A comparative study of supratarsal injection of triamcinolone and cyclosporine in recalcitrant cases of vernal catarrh” was accepted towards completion of his degree.

After completing his DNB training, he joined the Department of Ophthalmology at Radhaswami Hospital, Bhota, (H.P). He continued working there for more than five years and performed a number of eye surgeries including glaucoma surgery, combined glaucoma and cataract surgery, pterygium surgery, lid surgeries, dacryocystectomy, corneal laceration repair etc and developed a speciality interest & expertise in cataract surgery, having undertaken thousands of them.

He then moved to Gurugram & joined BEF (Bhar Eye Foundation) at Paras Hospital and gained experience in Phacoemulsification here. He joined BEF at Primus Super Speciality Hospital in 2015 and has been associated with it since.
